Hello Everyone!

 

VBS will be family-style this year! Families will get to participate with their children in a modified VBS during the last week in July. Adults will assist their children during VBS this year, in lieu of crew leaders.  

 

What will this look like? 

  

• We will be on the field for most of the evening.  Families can expect to bring a few things each day such as water bottles, masks, and hand sanitizer.  I will update this list later in the summer.  

• Singing, Bible Adventure, Snack, and Closing will be on the field.  Kid Video will take place in the church with half of the attendees while the other half are participating in snack/obstacle course.  Then we will switch.  

• Since we won't be able to show lyrics on the field outside, I would like kids to learn the songs at home prior to VBS.  Once you have registered your family, I will get the music CD to you either at church on Sunday or through the mail.  

 

Lastly, we don't want this to be a stressful week for families so the team is  working on putting together a simple meal, individually boxed, for families to eat before we begin @ 6 PM.  

 

For all of these reasons, it is really really important to register your family asap!!
